When You Arrive...
Our caring front-office staff will reserve an hour for your initial consultation and exam. Please bring completed new patient forms to your appointment so that you don't have to fill them out at our office. We’ll give you a welcome letter and informational brochure if you didn't receive one prior to your appointment. Enjoy our refreshments as we review your paperwork and answer questions for you. We’ll give you a toothbrush and toothpaste so that you can brush your teeth prior to your exam.
You'll meet Dr. Urban and discuss the reasons for your visit, as well as your concerns and expectations. If our schedule permits, you will also see the hygienist to have your teeth cleaned.
Your Exam
Dr. Urban will conduct a thorough examination of your smile. He'll assess the integrity of existing dental work and check for tooth decay. We will provide an oral cancer screening with ViziLite technology, and we will assess your gums for signs of periodontal disease. A complete set of digital X-rays will provide a comprehensive view of your teeth and supporting structures. We'll also use a small intraoral camera to take pictures inside your mouth.
Treatment Planning
Following your exam, Dr. Urban will use your intraoral photos and X-rays to explain his findings, then he'll work with you to plan treatment. He'll explain your options and help you decide how to accomplish your goals.

We want every phase of your appointment to be rewarding, so we make paying for your dental care easy. Our office accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. If you're interested in setting up a payment plan, we'll be happy to explain your options. Insurance Information
We accept all indemnity insurance plans (plans that allow you to go to any dental office of your choice). We are a PPO provider for MetLife, First Dental Health, Cigna, Aetna, and Boeing. Our efficient front-office staff will accept your co-pay or deductible, then electronically file your claim and work with your insurance company to maximize benefits.
